Membership in NSAI You may attend up to two regular NSAI
meetings as a guest of the local chapter. This gives you the opportunity
to see what the organization has to offer and if it interests you. After
these two meetings you are expected to join the organization or pay a $10 fee
per subsequent meeting attendance. You may join by filling out a
membership application which you can get at the meeting, by calling the parent
organization at 1-800-321-6008 or by visiting their web
site. Local Song Critiques Each member may have one song
critiqued at the regular monthly meeting. Bring either a CD or cassette of
the song plus 30 copies of the lyrics and your NSAI membership card. The
song may also be performed live with guitar accompaniment if you prefer.
Your lyrics will be passed to the attendees and they will write their comments
on them before they are returned to you. A short verbal discussion is also
held on each submission.
